TAAKAT is a commemorative event designed to immerse participants in the harrowing yet inspiring events of November 1984. Through a combination of short documentary screening, presentations and art exhibits we will explore how the Sikh community, particularly the women (Kaurs) of the Panth, exhibited remarkable resilience and resistance during and after this dark chapter in history.
