Join us for an incredible experience of soulful music on Sitar!

This event is an initiative of Gurukul Canada which is a platform for music enthusiasts and students/members to share their art and bring quality music with a view to building musical strength and nourish values in our community. The founder and guru of Gurukul Canada, Sharanjeet Singh Mand ji continues to inspire his students with his passion for music by sharing his gift of music to empower Indian Classical Arts. Sharanjeet represents Ustad Vilayat Khani Gharana and listed recently by CBC as one of 30 under 30 hottest classical musician. This is the first ever non-western classical musician to make it on the list and the first musician to play Sitar on Mount Everest! Sharanjeet is widely known as a Sitarist with impeccable style and flair and his performances have enthralled audiences in India, Canada, and USA alike

This is an inspiring opportunity for music enthusiasts and students to join us and hear this mesmerizing Sitar Virtuoso, Sharanjeet Singh Mand, a disciple of doyen of Indian Classical Music, Pandit Harvinder Sharma who can make his Sitar sing! The table component is by Shri Sunny Matharu, a talented musician who has accompanied world renowned musicians around the world.

This is a General Admission performance, which means that you'll choose your seat when you enter the theatre. The theatre doors will open 45 minutes before the start of the performance.
