AS TIME GOES BY

AS TIME GOES BY is a look back to the wonderful music of yesteryear. Lyrics that tell a story sung to tunes most will remember. Remember or not, you will enjoy it. The songs are combined with dance in several large Broadway-type numbers. There is lots of humour along the way that will have you laughing, guaranteed. And the number everyone asks for, the Can Can, is back. The average age of the performers is 77 years but you would never know it when you see them on stage. They are humbled to have been compared to The Follies, a wonderful show that ran for many years in Palm Springs. This is entertainment that appeals to all ages.

Having fun while doing good work is what BC's #1 seniors entertainment troupe is all about. Members have sung and danced their way through their fundraising “bursary shows” since 2004 and, over the years, have raised nearly $115,000 to financially support performing-arts students at Douglas College in New Westminster.
