People-watching goes to a whole new level in the fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants fusion of clown, improv, theatre, and social experiment that is Blind Date. Audiences vicariously experience all the exhilaration and excitement of new love as Mimi goes on a different blind date each night, with a willing gentleman from the audience.
Creator Rebecca Northan says “The thesis of Blind Date has always been ‘Everyone is loveable.’ There is great joy in leaning forward in your seat and watching two strangers attempt to connect.” About the connection between Mimi and her audience-member-turned-Romantic-Hero Northan adds, “There is only truth, breathing, and profound listening coupled with open-heartedness and a playful spirit.”
