For the first Coffee Concert of the series the Bergmann Duo will welcome violist, composer, improviser, and UBC professor Ryan Davis to be their musical collaborator. Together, they will explore the rich and timeless beauty of classical and romantic art songs, featuring works like Schubert’s Litany for the Feast of All Souls and Fauré’s beloved Après un rêve, alongside some timeless favorites from the world of popular music. Ryan will also demonstrate his innovative use of electronic equipment, opening up exciting new soundscapes for his instrument.
