Prepare for a mane event of epic proportions as Fraser Valley Musical Theatre unveils Rapunzel The Panto! Written by Bradford & Webster, this hair-raising, 'hair-lariously' tangled take on the classic fairy tale promises a delightful blend of comedy, slapstick, and enough puns to keep you in stitches. Rapunzel, with her incredibly long golden hair, is stuck in a tower by the wicked witch Gothel, who’s after her youthful tears. Gothel’s henchfolk, Curly and Bob, add their own brand of hair-brained antics. In town, hairdresser Trixie Bouffant is busy running her beauty shop and flirting with the Captain of the Guard. Her son Frankie, valet to the playboy Prince Frederick, spends much of his time holding back the paparazzi and the autograph hunters (and the Prince's hair after he's overindulged). Meanwhile, Fairy Flora has just finished her training and has come to serve the King and Queen, who are exasperated by their son's partying; So they send him out into the world to prove himself worthy. He ends up rescuing Rapunzel, sparking Gothel’s fury. Will love triumph or will Gothel snip their lives short?
This fantastically funny family-friendly panto is knot to be missed - it's bound to be a cut above the rest!
