PUBLIC WORKSHOP – RUPTURE AND RE-ROOTING Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 1:00 PM PDT

A Surrey Civic Theatres Presentation

The Earthen Bodies Collective and Joseph Dandurand invite you to join us for this public workshop—a moment to connect with the land, community and your self expression through interdisciplinary explorations and play! With our feet on the earth we will embody the elements through music, movement, and poetry prompts and guided meditations, inspired by our themes of “Rupture” and “Re-Rooting”.

We will also connect and celebrate through the sharing of dance grooves (think Hip Hop meets Dancehall meets Salsa) and finish off with a communal music JAM! Yes, we will be collectively moving and making music! (if inspired, feel free to bring your own instrument or bottle and spoon! *not a requirement)

All levels and experiences are welcomed and encouraged! This workshop is a space for you to explore different aspects of your creativity without any expectations.

Our hope is that you emerge from this workshop feeling more rooted into YOU and uplifted by others.
